Afallon, the proposed studio apartment for Akruti Developers is expected to be a milestone project. The project looks at redefining the existing design patterns and parameters set by its predecessors and hopes to bring in a new typology in building design and construction of live able spaces , need to attain the international design standards but at the same time be live to the context and importantly its end users .
Efficient planning, inside out facade , collage of materials and forms, visually less dense spaces constitutes this impressive development of almost 80,000 sq ft. The sizes of individual units ranges from 775 sq ft. to 690 sq ft, with 4 different plan forms, offers variety and uniqueness.

ARCHITECT PROFILE
Senthil Kumar Dass, graduated from regional college Trichy, has always been a curious student of architecture. During his student days , Senthil had an opportunity to work under one of India's leading
architect Mr. Balakrishna Dashi , who was know for his "Gufa" for artist M.F Hussain and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
A visit to Auraville- Pondicherry turned out to be of remarkable importance in his growth as an
architect.
He was mind blown by a sketch that was shown in one of the Architectural firms. Further enquiry on that was shown in one of the Architectural firms. Further enquiry on that sketch led him towards his mentor Mr. Dominic Dube, a French Canadian Architect who was settled in Auraville and was working on various development project in and around there.
He went on to become a Senior Architect and Associate in Dominic's firm and had opportunity to work on major research based housing projects(line of force and Reve), international
competitions [Great Egyptian Museum] to very interesting independent houses which were documented on national and international levels.
He moved on to start his own practice under the name of Play Architecture along with Mrs. Poonam Sachdev since 2004. Play Architecture attracted the design community through their unorthodox methods in building designs.
Play Architecture has further extended to form a specialized consultancy firm called BRDC{ Building Research and Development Consortium}, along with Manjunath and Co. , MOAD Chennai and J.K Constructions, offering design detailing methods for any new ideas to be manifested
